As an Internet Marketing Newbie, one is constantly exposed to new and guaranteed online money making systems. Every successful internet marketer wants to share their individual money making system with you.Of course, they have valuable information to share and whilst following a proven system will more than likely save you some time and money, there are still lessons that you have to learn for yourself. The 3 steps of this system involve three different types of websites that you need to understand and become proficient at. This system can be used for affiliate marketing (selling other people’s product for them) or for selling your own products.
Step 1 – the database building page
The purpose of this page is to build a database of customers. It is known by many different names: squeeze page, name squeeze page, optin page, name capture page, to name but a few.
Once you have a database, you have customers to sell to. Having a list of proven and potential customers means that you have an online business. This is not anything new, traditional offline businesses rely on their customer databases as well, to make sales.
When you have a responsive list that you have nurtured by providing them with valuable information you are able to make a profit by sending out an email. This is a highly leveraged way to operate a business. Whilst it takes plenty of time and hard work to build a list the effort is really worth it when you finally come to the point of being able to profit from a single email.
To build a list or database you usually need to give away something of value in exchange for a name (optional) and an email address.
Webpage 2 - The Sales Page
The sales page is the webpage that convinces the potential customer that your product or service is exactly what they need and are looking for.
I could go on for ages about the sales page but I’m sure you’ve seen many for yourself. Suffice to say, the best ones adhere to a tried and proven formula.
To become a successful online entrepreneur you have to be able to sell with a webpage.
Step 3 - The Thank You Page
The purpose of the thank you page is to acknowledge the receipt of payment and to give the customer product delivery details.Thanking your customer for doing business with you is the first step in building a mutually profitable relationship between yourself and your customer.
