I’m not kidding, I read that last one on the website of a network marketing company. How many people do you think would remember all the numbers at the end of your web address? You know those numbers that give you credit. Most people would not even remember to look up the website when they got to a computer, if they even read the sidewalk at all. I’ve been through the mill in this business. I’ve done whatever my up line suggested. Although I haven’t written my website address on any sidewalks around town. My sponsor told me to make a list of 100 people in my life and call them and show them the business plan. I thought it was going to be easy. I was given a phone script to use when I contacted my 100 people. The phone script my me feel deceitful because I wasn’t supposed to explain why I wanted to meet with them.. What happened next? Most of the time my appointments would not show up. Some would give me the courtesy of a call to cancel. Then those people would stop returning my calls and would avoid me at the store. Within the first year I signed three associates and all three quit during that same year. I finally realized that the people I was chasing were people that did not want to have their own business. These people were perfectly happy working for someone else. I was going after the wrong people. The ones I was going after just wanted to work for someone else. Now I knew I had to look for people that believed in multilevel marketing or someone that was looking into going into business for themselves.. Where would I find the type of people that wanted to be in business for themselves? I figured the Internet would have tons of people looking for some kind of business. . Lucky for me I found a mentor that showed me how he built his business using the Internet. My mentor showed me how to build my business using all the social sites, blogging, video and article marketing. All for free. Building your Sozo business on the Internet is easy if you have the right information. I will share that information with you. On-line marketing requires certain protocols to be successful in this endeavor. You cannot go to the social sites and tell everyone about your business opportunity up front. A relationship must first be developed between you and your prospects. People will not join your business because of the opportunity, they will join your business because of you.
